Its been awhile since my last update but I am working toward a new animation for the college year and to start off, there is the story.

Character

A small figure lying within the depth of a sewer, gathers itself and limps its way across the damp floor. It has the shape of a small puppet, but is fractured into different pieces, shapes, and materials. What he once was is unknown from his deteriorated status, but finds himself wanting to become something else.

Plot

The figure is limping across the damp floor and stumbles upon a magazine that is dangling from a sewer grate overhead. The page that dangles displays a celebrity, one who is displaying a plethora of items that display the power of money, appearance, and social acceptance. It believes that by becoming this celebrity, it too will receive the attention that it has lost over its previous owners neglect. To transform his identity to someone else, but at the same time taking away who he really was.
  • Setup - The figure is shown to be rather depressed and alone. It was once abandoned as a toy and now his only road ahead of him is completely enclosed. The sewer became its neverending prison.
  • Inciting Incident - It was not until the celebrity picture fell that the figure cared so much about his character. Before, he only felt lost, but it seemed to be his only motivation toward his own well-being.
  • Interaction - After staring deeply into the magazine, piles of trash come down the grates of the sewer on top of it. It stands up and shrugs off the little pieces that are stuck on the body. As it is doing so, discovers pieces within the trash that could help it "imitate" the celebrity. The figure takes the newly found trash and replaces its own to alter its appearance.
  • Climax - As the figure continually changes each section of the body, it notices how it becomes even more gruesome and deformed than when it started. It builds up a moment of rage and tears the picture in front of it and smacks it to the ground. It slows it breathe and edges closer on the torn page. The force given to the page ripped apart the perfect celebrity, leaving them deformed. Water drips down and hits the top of the figures head. Then it rolls down and drops off the figures right eye onto the magazine page. It sees its reflection beside the celebrities face. They are equal.
  • Resolution - No matter what a person may follow whether it be peer pressure, celebrities, or media, they will try to assimilate that lifestyle onto their own. We do it to ourselves everyday but never look back as to what our personalities were. Without looking back, its a part of our personality that is lost in the future.
This is my idea at the moment and I will welcome any comments or ideas that anybody may have on this story.
