A PRELIMINARY SCRIPT OF MY ANIMATION

FADE IN:

INT. SEWER -- EVENING

A unknown figure lying on the side of a sewer pipe twitches as flashes of lightning brighten the damp dingy walls. Its eyes awaken and it stares off to its right and left, then notices the nearby grate above his left shoulder. It stands and another flash of lightning shows off the different fractures of its body from years of abuse. Each section of its body is zoomed in on, showing different materials that were added as the originals were lost or broken.

INT. SEWER -- EVENING

Sounds, from a nearby car passing, distract the figure as the ground shakes. When the noise subsides, it focus is back onto the grate and notices a dangling magazine. As it walks closer, its one eye starts to make out the picture that is overing the exposed page. Its a celebrity holding and wearing different items and apparel. The expression of the figure turns from curiosity to an obsession. Its face focused squarely onto the celebrity. Something was compelling it to find need in joining a higher stature, one it believed was created with lavish looks and unattainable items. Suddenly heaps of trash come pouring down from above its head through the grate. The figure quickly moves out of the way and watches the trash piles out in front of him. Ideas began to swim within its mind when it sees other pieces that were apart of the celebrity ad. It conjures up a plan to reassemble itself with the intention of becoming what the celebrity was portraying. It did not only crave this transformation, but believed it was its only chance of acceptance to the world above. It begins sifting through, finding different pieces and replacing its own with them. With each passing moment it was completely transforming its body into a new image, one it thought was of celebrity status. But what was really occurring was the opposite. It only made itself more gruesome than before. After finishing, there is a puddle of water nearby that it looks deeply into to see its reflection. It was not a welcomed site. Its eyes were filled with rage and it turned back toward the celebrity ad. It grabbed both sides of the page and began to ripping it into pieces. With the ripping of the last page it fell to its knees to stare back into its reflection in the puddle. A drip falls from the tops of the grate and hits the top of the figures head. It moves down the face and beads on its right eye. The large bead of water falls down into its reflection dispersing its image into fragments and replaces it with its original. The camera moves to the side of the figure and pulls away. The lights go dim.
